Boy Scouts of America
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, with over 4 million youth members.
The goal of BSA is to train youth in character development, citizenship, and self-reliance through a variety of activities.
The divisions of scouting are Cub Scouting for boys ages 5-11 1/2 years, Boy Scouting for boys ages 10-18, and Venturing for young women and men ages 14-21.
Boy Scouts of America operates Scouting locally through units sponsored and operated by churches, clubs, civic associations, educational associations, etc.
