Norfolk Public Library

The Norfolk Public Library holds community events including the Annual Literature Festival that has writer’s workshops for young adults, famous authors, previews, door prizes, etc.  Storytime for children ages three to second grade are available, along with lapsit time that is for infants through age two.  Other events are scheduled throughout the year for youth up to age seventeen.  Two book discussion groups also take place each month. Spanish literature and materials are also available at the library.

Free public Wi-Fi internet access is available, and the library offers 24-hour access to their electronic databases (Netlibrary and Overdrive).  Electronic books, online databases, online catalog, and music is available for checkout through their website.

Regular Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 9:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:30pm.  Summer library hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 7:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and closed on Sunday.
