Improved Living, Inc.

Improved Living, Inc. has been established for 31 years and  provides housing for those with mental illness. They also manage housing apartments in Columbus as well. For more information on openings and services, please contact the Executive Director Jean Franchetti.

ILI has a 20 unit apartment complex located at 111 South Pine in Norfolk for elderly and disabled individuals. Rent is based on income. 

Improved Living, Inc. also has a food bank that serves pantries and meal providers in 14 counties in Northeast Nebraska.  ILI does not directly feed the public; they provide food for the different food providers.  Providers must be a nonprofit corporation feeding hungry people,
