Haven House

Haven house provides services to those who have experienced sexual abuse and domestic violence. All services are confidential and free of charge.

Haven House offers a 24 hour crisis line that has trained staff and volunteers ready to offer immediate, confidential support, information, and access to services 24 hours a day by calling 1-800-440-4633. They also have an emergency shelter that provides a safe place to stay. Emergency transportation is available 24 hours a day, and can also be used to go to court preceedings, medical services, or to other community agencies. Staff also provides medical advocacy and referrals and will accompany survivors to emergency rooms and other medical offices.  Legal referrals and assistance with protection orders is also available through Haven House. Support groups are available for survivors.  Haven house can also provide presentations to educate others on topics such as “Sexual Assault”, “Elder Abuse”, “Bullying”, and “Dating Violence”, etc.

Haven house serves the counties of Cedar, Dakota, Dixon, Thurston, and Wayne.

Two other offices are also located in South Sioux City and Hartington.
